Opening fast charger Gerkesklooster

At Melkweg|Fritom, we believe logistics can be a driving force for sustainable change. On 19 June, we celebrated an important milestone together with FrieslandCampina: the official opening of a fast-charging station at the production site in Gerkesklooster. This marks the start of fully electric milk transport in the region - both literally and figuratively.

What began in 1989 with about 29 containers has now become an operation with more than 600 tank containers... And there are even more to come! 💪

Melkweg goes intercontinental

After decades of establishing ourselves as a leader in liquid bulk transport in Europe, we have taken the next step to expanding our network. This year, we’ve had the opportunity to look further – some 3600miles further. 😉 We are proud to say that our Melkweg|Fritom tanks have been chartering new territories, crossing the Atlantic ocean to reach the USA!
