Sustainability is not a standalone initiative within our organization, but an integral part of how we operate, manage, and continuously improve. Across the Fritom group, this takes shape in different ways at various locations, including Oldenburger|Fritom, Sanders|Fritom, and TGN | Fritom, where sustainability is increasingly embedded in new developments, optimizations, and day-to-day operations.
At our own location, we have also made conscious choices to contribute to a future-proof environment. Our energy-neutral office building, including garage and truck wash, has been designed and set up with a strong focus on efficient energy use and the reuse of resources. Solar panels have been installed on the roof to generate renewable energy. Rainwater is collected and reused for the truck wash and for flushing toilets. In addition, the bicycle storage area has been created using a recycled tank container, as a practical example of circular material use. It is not one single measure that makes the difference, but the combination of choices - both in the building itself and in the surrounding grounds.
This approach aligns with the broader ambition within Fritom to structurally embed sustainability in our organization and our projects.
As a confirmation of these efforts, our building and site have now officially been BREEAM-certified. For us, this is not an endpoint, but a recognition that we are on the right track and an extra motivation to continue improving.
