Melkweg|Fritom expands fleet with three new Volvo trucks

Last Friday, we received the first of three brand-new Volvo FH460 trucks. Built and supplied by LVS Leeuwarden, these trucks mark another step forward in our commitment to smarter and more sustainable transport.

The new trucks are finished in our signature company livery and equipped with a Mouvex compressor for fast and efficient unloading of liquid cargo. Their fuel-efficient engines, aerodynamic design, and A-rated tires help reduce fuel consumption and lower CO₂ emissions, perfectly aligning with our focus on sustainability and efficiency.

These FH460s will be deployed across our intermodal transport operations, combining road, rail, and water to ensure seamless logistics across Europe. With their advanced technology and reliability, the trucks play a key role in building a greener, more sustainable transport network.

The first truck is already on the road, delivering a full tank container for one of our valued customers.
